La Physical Literacy per uno stile di vita sano

Abstract

Il riconoscimento in Costituzione del valore educativo e sociale dello sport può imprimere un nuovo impulso per lo sviluppo dell’alfabetizzazione fisica a scuola e sul territorio. I recenti dati epidemiologici sulla sedentarietà in Italia sollecitano l’attivazione di programmi di Physical Literacy (PL) affinché diventi una componente chiave dell’educazione permanente. L’articolo offre una riflessione sulla valenza della PL; sulla necessità di distinguerla dalla Health Litercy (HL); sulle esperienze in corso in diversi Paesi europei. Pertanto, si rende necessario avviare un reale confronto tra Università, Scuola, Federazioni sportive, Enti di promozione sportiva, Strutture sanitarie, Enti locali per organizzare programmi comuni e strumenti condivisi necessari alla valutazione delle diverse dimensioni della PL.
