Formazione & insegnamento, also known as Formazione e insegnamento, is the official peer-reviewed Diamond Open Access journal published by Pensa MultiMedia. Founded in 2003 by Prof. Umberto Margiotta, it publishes research on education, training, pedagogy, didactics, lifelong learning, teacher education, inclusion, educational policy, and educational research.

The journal addresses an academic readership interested in education, learning, pedagogy, teaching, training, and the wider educational sciences. Its aims and scope include research on educational theory, teaching and learning processes, teacher education, inclusion, lifelong learning, educational policy, and the transformation of contemporary educational contexts.
The journal welcomes research articles from scholars and practitioners, including educators, lecturers, teachers, and professionals, provided that submissions meet the standards of scientific research and scholarly communication. Authors are invited to consult the accepted paper types and the submission guidelines before preparing a manuscript.
In line with international developments in educational research, the journal promotes debate on inclusion, globalisation, lifelong learning, social justice, sustainability, talent, and educational leadership for the transformation of contemporary society.
Formazione & insegnamento is ranked as a Class A journal by ANVUR in the Scientific Subject Fields 11/PAED-01 and 11/PAED-02. It is also recognised as a scientific journal for Area 11 and Area 10. Further information is available in the journal's indexing and acknowledgements section.
