Indexing & Acknowledgments

The journal adopts Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) provided through mEDRA and records the ORCID identifier of its authors whenever available.

Formazione & insegnamento is currently included, listed, or indexed in numerous scholarly registers, directories, discovery services, and policy databases. The following list distinguishes between evaluative or recognized journal lists, discovery and search services, and policy or directory records. Inclusion in a given service should be understood according to the nature of that service (for instance, without inferring evaluative outcomes where no evaluation has taken place).

Evaluative and recognized journal lists

Formazione & insegnamento is classified by ANVUR as an “A-Class” journal in the Scientific Disciplinary Groups “GSD 11/PAED-01” and “GSD 11/PAED-02”. It is also indexed as a “Scientific Journal” for Areas 10 and 11a.

Regarding MLA, indexing is understood to concern contributions falling within the scope of Area 10 and language studies (including, naturally, Glottodidactics/Language Teaching Research). The journal is not affiliated with MLA and therefore cannot independently verify indexing status on a routine basis; however, inclusion was confirmed to the journal via email communication from MLA.

Additional notes

Although Formazione & insegnamento is not included in the Redalyc repository as a journal, and Redalyc informed the journal that the for-profit legal nature of its service provider precludes repository admission, some articles from the journal are nonetheless discoverable through Redalyc and, in some cases, Redalyc-hosted PDF files can be found via general web search.

On 5 January 2023, Formazione & insegnamento received notice that a record had been created in Ulrichsweb. However, neither the journal nor its service provider subscribes to that service and therefore the corresponding record cannot be checked on a routine basis.
