The illustration shows Umberto Margiotta: a mature, bald man with hair on the sides, seated at a table with a microphone close to his mouth, indicating he is speaking or presenting. He wears large, rounded eyeglasses and a formal suit jacket with a patterned tie. His face and hands are depicted with clean, simple lines that highlight essential facial features like eyebrows, nose, and mouth without excessive detail. The background is plain, giving a sense of an elegant, smooth surface. The overall style is minimalistic and linear, using black lines sparingly for outlines and key details, creating a refined and timeless appearance. Margiottian Studies gathers the body of research inspired by the thought and scientific legacy of Umberto Margiotta (1947–2019). These studies explore critical pedagogy, the epistemology of education, and systemic innovation in teaching and learning processes. They also develop within a transdisciplinary and hermeneutically aware perspective, spanning from evaluation theory to teacher professionalism, with sustained attention to education as a transformative, generative, and relational process. They further reflect Margiotta’s commitment to institutional reform, lifelong learning, and the internationalisation of pedagogical research.
