In this essay I will present some working notes on the problem of talent. It is an issue that circulates widely in today’s educational debate and therefore merits some consideration. To this end, my discussion will be organised into three points: (1) the nature of talent; (2) its origin; (3) the ways in which it can be intentionally cultivated.
