Training and teaching: Working notes
Abstract
By drawing on working notes, this paper aims at analysing some essential features of teacher training. It is articulated in the following steps: (1) investigation of teachers’ professional profile, which is then traced back to the construct of professional skills; (2) analysis of the concept of training, together with its logical structure; (3) outcomes of the previous analysis are taken into account in order to highlight new aspects of teaching practice; (4) then, a problem will be posed about the training of prospective teachers; (5) guidelines for teacher training are hence obtained; (6) the training path they relate to display its own logics; (7) finally, they prove to be interrelated.Downloads
