Talents as the Development of Subjectivity in Times of Transition

The term talents refers to multiple interpretations. For several decades, Umberto Margiotta sustained an active research front and a rich debate that promoted formative dialogue around this concept. Within this framework, the present contribution broadly addresses the reflection on the quality of lived time as a key to accessing critical and reflective thinking, as an exercise of freedom and self-determination, and as a formative condition that guides individuals—therefore playing a decisive role in their development, including in shaping the expectations and potential associated with talents.
