Analysis of a Multi-Sport Educational Process for Sustainable Sports Education
Keywords:
Teacher, Rugby, Communication, Teaching skills, Physical literacyAbstract
The topic of this work is sports teacher education. Metaphors will initially approach the issue to understand better some concepts of the training path, such as the necessary process for its fulfillment, the didactic form (art or rationality?), competence (technical or empathy?), and the communicative approach of the teacher. Subsequently, an ongoing training project based on an integrated multi-sports model will be illustrated in its exploratory phase, initially addressed to federal rugby instructors. The scientific method, whose procedures are thoroughly described, will allow us to verify the model's success, sustainability, and didactic transferability to the educational courses for youth sports instructors. The outcomes can prove the adequacy of the method to achieve all expected targets for training professionals in the motor-sports field and, more broadly, to promote the physical literacy of the ultimate recipients, namely the children.
