Fair play and its educational value

This work proposes a critical conceptualization of “fair play” in the light of the most relevant international scientific findings. Society is experiencing a great crisis of values. Deeper needs have to be met, if individuals, families and society itself are not fall into a serious problematic circle. Sport without competition and with a great spirit of friendship and solidarity can give an important contribution to overcoming the current social and ethical emergency. Sport, according to the Arnold’s lesson and Delors Reports, can play a vital role in encouraging a new season of rebirth and can bring us friendship and a sense of community.
