Abstract

In recent years, the dynamic ecological approach has found more and more space to promote the acquisition of technical skills and transversal motor skills especially in youth sports, but there appears to be modest analysis of the development of motor capabilities in young sportsmen. This study aims to describe the effects of the dynamic ecological approach on some health indicators in young sports practitioners. Twenty-seven young soccer players were randomly divided into dynamic ecological approach (GED) sports initiation group and traditional sports initiation group (GC). The comparison revealed that the GED showed significantly better values (p < 0.001) in the strength, line speed and with direction changes. No statistically significant difference was observed in flexibility. In conclusion, the dynamic ecological approach through continuous exploration of the learning environment seems to solicit the motor capabilities of young practitioners more effectively than traditional methodology.
