Los efectos de la enseñanza interdisciplinaria entre matemáticas y educación física: Una Revisión Sistemática

Resumen

La actividad física proporciona numerosos beneficios para la salud física y mental, incluso afectando el aprendizaje. A pesar de esto, uno de los principales problemas modernos es el sedentarismo. Niños y adolescentes pasan la mayor parte de su tiempo en la escuela. Por lo tanto, una metodología de enseñanza válida para beneficiarse de los efectos positivos de la actividad física y reducir los momentos sedentarios podría ser el aprendizaje interdisciplinario, que integra la educación física en varias asignaturas curriculares. Específicamente, este artículo propone una revisión sistemática de la literatura de algunos protocolos (n = 11) para investigar si un currículo integrado de educación física y matemáticas en la escuela primaria puede mejorar el aprendizaje en el dominio lógico-cognitivo. De todos los estudios revisados, se confirmó la gran importancia de la enseñanza interdisciplinaria, vinculando las matemáticas a la educación física, para reducir los momentos sedentarios y permitir una mejor actitud hacia esta disciplina, derribando muchos de los estereotipos que a menudo la pintan como una materia compleja y abstracta.
