Abstract

This editorial introduces Volume 24, Issue 1 of Formazione & insegnamento, titled “The Voices of Education”. It advances a plural perspective on education, one that values dialogue and resonance among different scholarly voices, in opposition to pressures to reduce pedagogical inquiry to a merely specialist form of knowledge. The contributions gathered here are organised according to the journal’s classical categories: Paradigms, Higher Education, Quality of Life, Childhood, Teaching, and Corporeality. Each of these highlights the vitality of the community of practice to which the educational sciences belong, in a convergence of approaches and objects of study that rethink education, mediation, inclusion, and professional responsibility.
