Ex-post evaluation. A case study post-project on the theoretical-methodological aspects and on obtained results
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to present a reflection of ex-post evaluation firstly on the development of the methodological design of the research that led to the creation of the tool used to explore the dimensions of knowledge and the experience and opinions of doctoral students. Secondly, the discussion of the results obtained through the instrument as empirical justification for the theory used as a basis for this very study. The need for this in-depth analysis, which goes beyond the summary of the final report of the FREREF project, arises from the need for a greater sensitivity towards the critical analysis of the methodological foundations of educational research, which has been highlighted especially in recent years in the socio-educational field, also depending on the opportunity to follow innovative evaluation approaches.
