Abstract

Ontology objects and products developed by pedagogical ontology project haveto be considered as result of implementing two different but convergent logics: philosophic and scientific. The first one contributed to the elaboration and definition of concepts and meanings regarding pedagogical ontologies; on the other side the second one was useful in constructing operative products that were capable of organizing the information structure and adequate for managing pedagogical knowledge. In particular the following objects were defined: concept maps, taxonomies, lemmas and formal contexts. The products designed were: information sheet, database, web ontology, interaction tools. In more in detail they were obtained by integrating subset of technology devices evidenced in the range of the pragmatic level. Consequently the complex applications are oriented toward the realization of multiple evolved task, each one of them with a precise organizational and managerial purpose. These technologies are considered as the ones enabling the strategies and the products of knowledge representation and reasoning that implement the pedagogical ontologies.
