Obstacles and facilitators towards active aging: an international literature review

Abstract

The increase of life expectancy makes it even more urgent the need to respond
to the ageing population’s issue. After showing the main diagnostic
tools, this work highlights the main risk factors and protection factors related
to the onset of dementia. Just a comprehensive approach to the person
and to his social network can not only prevent the onset of diseases, but also
promote the active ageing.
