Abstract

Recent discussion on the evolution that the classroom is living in recent
years. The traditional classroom with a slate, slate blackboard and lined
desks, have welcomed the technology while maintaining the static nature of
the space. Numerous examples of classrooms that exceed the physical dimension
of the classroom begin to be numerous, with obvious changes
from the architectural point of view and furnishings in relation to the pedagogical
enhancement of teaching. The innovation in the design of this new
way of “doing school” is a function of the enhancement of the centrality of
the person and not of the institution. We prefer a pedagogical design of
learning spaces. The school becomes a community where the knowledge
connects with the knowledge of society starting from a physical space,
where exploration, reflection, collaboration, discussion and elaboration are
privileged. Space invests in education.
