Qualité des expériences éducatives dans les services de la petite enfance : Une enquête sur les perceptions des parents dans la ville de Padoue, Italie

Dans les services d’éducation et de soins de la petite enfance (ECEC), considérer la qualité comme négociée favorise la pratique réflexive à la fois chez les éducateurs et chez les parents. La participation des parents constitue un aspect essentiel, puisque parents et éducateurs partagent la coresponsabilité du développement des enfants. Cette étude exploratoire analyse les perceptions des parents concernant la qualité dans les services d’accueil de la petite enfance et les expériences éducatives proposées aux enfants. Un questionnaire a été administré à des parents d’enfants fréquentant des crèches rattachées au système de services éducatifs de la ville de Padoue (Italie). L’analyse des données a mobilisé à la fois des méthodes quantitatives et qualitatives. Les résultats mettent en évidence les aspects que les parents considèrent comme les plus importants dans les expériences éducatives, ainsi que ceux auxquels ils accordent moins de valeur. Il est particulièrement significatif que les parents aient accordé moins d’importance à la documentation, à la participation parentale et à l’implication territoriale. À partir des résultats obtenus, le projet doctoral auquel appartient cette étude vise à promouvoir l’implication des parents dans la réflexion sur les éléments de qualité des expériences éducatives.
