Calidad de las experiencias educativas en los servicios de atención a la infancia: Una encuesta sobre las percepciones de los padres en la ciudad de Padua, Italia

Resumen

En los servicios de educación y cuidado de la primera infancia (ECEC), considerar la calidad como negociada fomenta la práctica reflexiva tanto en los educadores como en los padres. La participación de los padres constituye un aspecto fundamental, ya que padres y educadores son corresponsables del desarrollo de los niños. Este estudio exploratorio investiga las percepciones de los padres sobre la calidad en los servicios de atención infantil y las experiencias educativas ofrecidas a los niños. Se administró un cuestionario a padres de niños que asistían a guarderías vinculadas al sistema de servicios educativos de la ciudad de Padua (Italia). Para el análisis de los datos se utilizaron métodos tanto cuantitativos como cualitativos. Los resultados destacan los aspectos que los padres consideran más importantes en las experiencias educativas y aquellos a los que otorgan menos valor. Es particularmente relevante que los padres concedieran menor importancia a la documentación, la participación de las familias y la implicación territorial. A partir de los resultados obtenidos, el proyecto doctoral al que pertenece este estudio busca promover la implicación de los padres en la reflexión sobre los elementos de calidad de las experiencias educativas.
