Capability Approach e Politiche Educative
Abstract
This paper investigates how the Capability Approach allows for an enhanced compatibility between national educational policies and development plans. In fact, it regards education as the basis of further individual and collective development; in particular, it is acknowledged that quality of life is enhanced by changing educational practices related to healthcare, social services, etc. Both at a national and at an international level, many projects and normative frameworks demonstrate that quality of life is related to increasing possibility of choice—i.e. opportunities, whose necessary condition is the fulfilment and development of individual capabilities.Downloads
