This research aims to investigate which reasonable accommodation can be introduced within the organizations to encourage the disabled employees in the performance of their duties and what are the factors that lead employers to decide to grant them. Through an in-depth interviews, we collected the experience of thirty employers and disabled during the paths of adjustment. In addition, two case studies have allowed us to verify, in the field, the trading procedures put in place by the actors involved. The data collected were analyzed using a phenomenological approach in order to return the experience from the point of view of the participants. The results show the importance of different accommodations related to changes in the working environment. Also, it can be made a different organization of work characterized by the introduction of new procedures.
Finally, there may be a mentor within the organization. The decision to grant an accommodation seems to be influenced by the perceptions of usefulness to the organization, the type of accommodation itself, the organizational culture and the previous experiences of the employer.
