Abstract

Inside the various residential institutes, there are “nucleuses” in which people affected from the disease of Alzheimer live. Them, besides regular medical assistance, develop some individual activities that provide some relief during the day. Despite this, the mood of the patients is often very low because for the most part, the human aspect is left behind and only when a damage occurs, an expert tries to cure it. Among the different neglected recreational activities, we identify the game. The game should not be intended as a childish activity, but as a development of useful settings to promote and facilitate educational processes aiming at the well-being of the elderly.
