Formazione & insegnamento is pleased to share a set of editorial updates, new publications, active calls for papers, tutorials, and practical reminders for readers, authors, reviewers, and members of the wider scientific community.

New, shorter, and more focused tutorials are also available for authors and users of the Journal’s platform:

We also take this opportunity to share three important practical reminders.

First, users are kindly asked not to classify emails from the @pensamultimedia.it domain as spam. These messages may include editorial communications, platform notifications, review requests, publication updates, and other information required for the Journal’s regular workflow.

Second, readers and authors are kindly asked not to use automatic translation tools to navigate the Journal’s website. The website is already available in English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. If, for example, the English version is browsed while Google Translate or a similar service is active, users may be shown automatic translations of the English titles instead of the official titles in the original language agreed with the Authors. If these automatic translations are subsequently used in bibliographic references, the resulting reference may be incorrect and the Journal may lose track of citations to the relevant article.

Third, we have identified approximately twenty citations of the Journal, including citations appearing in European documents, in which the title Training & Teaching has been used instead of Formazione & insegnamento or its accepted variant Formazione e insegnamento. This is a serious problem: the Journal is not registered anywhere under the title Training & Teaching. For reasons of philological accuracy, bibliographic references must reproduce the Journal’s actual title, even when the bibliography is written in a language other than Italian.
