Organizaciones del Tercer Sector y Sostenibilidad Cultural: Un estudio de investigación cualitativa en la región de Toscana

La literatura reconoce ampliamente el papel de las organizaciones del Tercer Sector en la consecución de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de las Naciones Unidas y en la promoción de procesos de sostenibilidad integrada. Sin embargo, el debate académico aún presta escasa atención a aquellas organizaciones del Tercer Sector activas en el ámbito de los servicios culturales, que promueven de hecho la sostenibilidad en su dimensión cultural. Este artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación cualitativa basada en entrevistas a siete cooperativas culturales de la Toscana comprometidas con la valorización del patrimonio, la participación comunitaria y el bienestar cultural. El estudio, fase exploratoria de un programa de investigación más amplio, permitió identificar ciertas características de los servicios culturales significativas desde una perspectiva de sostenibilidad, en un contexto caracterizado por la emergencia de nuevos paradigmas de bienestar. Mediante un enfoque hermenéutico, la investigación también sacó a la luz las percepciones de los actores implicados respecto al tema de la sostenibilidad cultural, aportando reflexiones relevantes en un ámbito aún poco explorado por la investigación educativa.
