This paper aims to analyse the possible convergence between the scouting educational movement founded by Baden Powell in 1908, and the Capability Approach. The general purpose of this paper is to verify how scouting, through the game in the educational mediation, can guarantee the basis for the capability discernment of self-education. To same extent is to understand how the self-educating proposal can become a way for the implementation of sustainable development, wished by the objectives of Agenda 2030. Scouting, based on micro-organization for patrols, becomes the receptacle for capability-actions, for possibility of shared governance. It is a true environment to implementation of lucky and generative synthesis between global targets and educational emergencies, thanks to the possibility of giving happiness to others and the development of a concretely democratic conscience.
