Abstract

This paper will examine some of the most recurring problems in the relationship
between technology and education. The challenges of the knowledge
society generate unprecedented training needs that traditional educational
systems can’t cope. Outside of these, however, digital technology are
designed and spread, generating new forms of “collective intelligence”
(Levy, 2002) and “converging cultures” (Jenkins, 2007) that become more and
more “participatory” (Jenkins, 2010).
We will first look to show how, in the relationship technology-education,
there is still the risk of anamnesis historical, then I will discuss the generational
paradigm, has almost become a slogan, of digital natives/immigrants
and, in the end, will be treated the question access to technologies defined
within the new media ecology.
