Competence development: Indexes and processes for an evaluation model

Abstract

This article aims at contributing to the construction of an analysis and evaluation model. Such model deals with the formation of competence, and it is thought of as featured by process and constructivism. My goal is that of promoting experimental research on training and evaluation indexes. Subsequently, mobilizing factors (action, situation, and problem solving) are joined together with cognitive, metacognitive, and relational processes.
This is done according to the paradigms of citizenship (autonomy and responsibility). In the end, it is shown how such model overcomes the incremental and linear conception of competence development.
