Capability: A semantic and pedagogic analysis
Abstract
“Ontoped. Research quality and scientific documentary research in pedagogy” is one of the recently completed PRIN 2009. This project is focused on the construction of pedagogic ontologies, i.e. the systematic recognition and representation of knowledge retrieved in relevant disciplines related to the field of education. Drawing on this source, this paper aims to examine one of its conceptual cores—namely, the one closer to the idea of capability or capacity. Thus, a brief semantic and pedagogical analysis of said concepts is put forward. Consequently, new elements are found that might help clarification in linguistic communication and research practice.Downloads
