A wide, abstract editorial illustration depicting the choice to enter the teaching profession as a journey between shadow and light. A lone prospective teacher stands on a winding, luminous path that leads toward a bright horizon, where small stylised figures suggest teachers, children, and a learning community. The darker left side contains deep aubergine and muted blue tones, books, archival papers, geometric diagrams, and interconnected nodes, while the brighter right side opens into warm cream, coral, amber, and apricot light. Layered pages, handwritten textures, botanical details, maps, stairs, and dotted trajectories evoke reflection, research, professional identity formation, and persistence. The overall mood is contemplative, literary, hopeful, and intellectually rich.
