Resumen

El fenómeno de la inactividad en hombres adultos, al que usualmente nos referimos solo para una comparación con grupos tradicionalmente desfavorecidos, es particularmente importante para cerrar la brecha de conocimiento que lo caracteriza y por su valor heurístico al resaltar indicaciones prospectivas para un desarrollo humano integral. El ensayo confirma la hipótesis de que la inactividad en hombres adultos, mayor en Italia que en otros países europeos, es una condición posible que afecta negativamente no solo los ingresos y la estabilidad familiar, sino también la adquisición de competencias comercializables y la conciencia social. La presentación de un estudio transdisciplinario sobre el fenómeno de la inactividad en hombres adultos analiza la relación entre el objeto de investigación y el creciente interés suscitado por los temas relacionados con la educación para la transición ecológica, partiendo de la hipótesis heurística según la cual las competencias en sostenibilidad podrían constituir un impulsor pedagógico significativo para responder a la exclusión laboral y social del grupo analizado.
