This paper aims to investigate how entrepreneurship, one of the eight key competences for lifelong learning, is developed at school. An analysis of the three-year projects of schools in the Province of Trento was conducted in order to describe how the seventh key competence is represented in educational planning. Preliminary results show that there is still resistance to introducing the term “entrepreneurship” in school contexts. It also shows, however, that those schools with specific initiatives for the development of entrepreneurship tend to adopt a broader interpretation from a pedagogical perspective.
