O impacto do ambiente universitário e da educação empreendedora nas intenções dos estudantes de iniciar o próprio negócio: Evidências da pesquisa GUESSS na Grécia

Utilizando dados da Pesquisa Global sobre o Espírito Empreendedor dos Estudantes Universitários (GUESSS) de 2021, o estudo investiga até que ponto o ambiente empreendedor na universidade em geral e os cursos de educação empreendedora impactam nas intenções dos estudantes de fundar seu próprio negócio. Este modelo de pesquisa foi testado com 1594 estudantes de 22 universidades gregas; os resultados sugerem que a educação empreendedora influencia tanto o clima empreendedor quanto as intenções de fundar um próprio negócio. Os testes estatísticos também mostram uma diferença de gênero entre as intenções de fundar uma nova empresa e o clima empreendedor. Os resultados validam a distinção entre mulheres e homens em relação às intenções empreendedoras já identificadas em outros estudos, e fornecem informações sobre as variáveis que influenciam a vontade dos estudantes de fundar seu próprio negócio. Conclui-se que as políticas para promover a educação empreendedora devem considerar os fatores únicos que moldam as intenções empreendedoras de homens e mulheres, e as universidades deveriam oferecer programas de educação empreendedora de acordo com o gênero dos participantes.
