El impacto del ambiente universitario y de la educación emprendedora en las intenciones de los estudiantes de iniciar su propio negocio: Evidencias de la encuesta GUESSS en Grecia

Resumen

Utilizando datos de la Encuesta Global sobre el Espíritu Emprendedor de los Estudiantes Universitarios (GUESSS) de 2021, el estudio investiga hasta qué punto el ambiente emprendedor en la universidad en general y los cursos de educación emprendedora impactan en las intenciones de los estudiantes de fundar su propia empresa. Este modelo de investigación se probó con 1594 estudiantes de 22 universidades griegas; los resultados sugieren que la educación emprendedora influye tanto en el clima emprendedor como en las intenciones de fundar una empresa propia. Las pruebas estadísticas también muestran una diferencia de género entre las intenciones de fundar una nueva empresa y el clima emprendedor. Los resultados validan la distinción entre mujeres y hombres en cuanto a las intenciones emprendedoras ya identificadas en otros estudios y proporcionan información sobre las variables que influyen en la voluntad de los estudiantes de fundar su propia empresa. Se concluye que las políticas para promover la educación emprendedora deberían tener en cuenta los factores únicos que forman las intenciones emprendedoras de hombres y mujeres, y las universidades deberían ofrecer programas de educación emprendedora adaptados al género de los participantes.
