¿La Inteligencia Artificial Generativa vuelve obsoleta la metodología didáctica basada en el debate?

Resumen

Este artículo examina si la inteligencia artificial generativa (IA), ejemplificada por herramientas como ChatGPT, convierte en obsoleta la metodología del debate. Explora las respuestas del ámbito educativo, desde una resistencia inicial hasta una adopción estratégica, así como el impacto profundo en el debate competitivo. Aunque la IA mejora la preparación mediante herramientas y estrategias iterativas de prompting, el estudio enfatiza la conservación de tareas singularmente humanas, tales como la habilidad retórica, la reflexión crítica y el razonamiento ético. Introduciendo conceptos como "conjuntos de tareas" y "artefactos cognitivos", se aboga por la integración de la IA como complemento, no como sustituto. El análisis destaca la necesidad de políticas equilibradas y una alfabetización crítica que armonicen la innovación tecnológica con el valor perdurable de la creatividad, la colaboración y la autonomía en el debate. Lejos de volverse obsoleto, el debate evoluciona hacia un marco dinámico que conjuga inteligencias humana y artificial.
