Abstract

The paper offers a reflection on the relation between sustainable development and cultural heritage, emphasizing the role of education and training as enabling factor of the structural change toward sustainability and the spread of environmental awareness. This work moves from the first results of the ongoing experimentation within the framework of the National Strategy for Inner Areas promoted by the Ministry of Economic Development, that in Tuscany involves the territories of Casentino and Valtiberina.
