Sustainable development compares with the experience of Covid 19. The severe health, economic and social crisis generated by the pandemic has changed global scenarios and dramatically affected, the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, forcing individuals and communities to reflect on the need to build a healthier and more resilient world. The UN testifies that even in this time of crisis the natural environment has been subject to an alarming process of degradation, exacerbating previous inequalities and injustices. The global community is called to face the climate crisis and to consider -as undeferrable- the issue of adaptation to climate change in its various dimensions. The essay, through the results of a project of Alta Scuola per l’Ambiente-Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, aims to demonstrate how training in climate adaptation can become a prolific object of theoretical reflection and practical intervention by Education.
