Abstract

The fourth industrial revolution’s transformations, with its critical issues and opportunities, involve both production and education systems. The latter have to face important changes that can become challenges in order to govern the digital disruption and not to suffer it. The key competence of critical thinking is essential to face these challenges, especially for the “digital generations”, and to interpret, to analyse and, where necessary, to resolve environment’s problems, in a continuous changing world. The paper presents a doctoral research project, still underway, aimed at investigating the critical thinking of digital natives.
