Abstract

The issue presents a study of school reengagement of young dropouts into
a vocational school in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Through a qualitative analysis,
the research highlights the key elements in the experience of drop-out and
the effectiveness of strategies in terms of educational success. Significant
contents emerged on the strengths and weaknesses of the path, the difficulties
of students, the centrality of their experience, the expression of their
agency and the grade of their participation at school in the success. The results
show that educational success can not ignore needs and voice of
young people, which should be considered the real stakeholders in projecting
measures for school success.
