Abstract

The present work reports the main elements of the PON/FSE project of vocational guidance for the first degree secondary school of the Comprehensive Institute of Lastra a Signa entitled “La Bussola e il Cielo”. The scientific bases of scholastic and professional guidance will be outlined and the main phases of the project that involved two groups of students, third classes next to the choice of the second degree secondary school and second classes anticipating reflexive and decisional processes. The context of reference, the objectives, the professionals, the participating institutes and companies, the work methodology, the aspects of innovation, and the inclusiveness strategies will be outlined. Attention will be paid to the multidisciplinary nature of the operators and to the synergy with the wider territory. The gained results based on the assessment tools will be reported, highlighting the impact of the project, the prospects for scalability and replicability of the project over time and in the context of reference. The article concludes that the active and experiential involvement of students, teachers, guidance experts, professionals, companies and parents highlighted the importance of co-construction an orienting community, for more informed choices and based on maturation processes.
