Abstract

The didactic planning according to the vision of the vertical Curriculum forced the Authors to ask themselves the question of how to make the transition from Primary to Secondary as continuous as possible in relation to problem solving in Mathematics. The analysis of the situation in the two areas led to the design and discussion with the students of a conceptual map that would allow them to guide this important aspect of translation from natural to formal language. The workshop experience, which began in 2017 and lasted until 2019, highlighted more nominal misunderstandings than real conceptual obstacles.
