Autism Spectrum Disorders represent one of the most complex developmental disabilities, and the increase of incidence in the school population requires the implementation of effective educational interventions based on evidence. In recent times, the Social Robotics approach has demonstrated significant levels of effectiveness for the development of skills for the attention sharing and for the empowerment of communicative skills in students with Autism Spectrum abnormalities. In this article, the most incisive experimental evidences are presented and the opportunities or the educational intervention are discussed.
