Appreciative Inquiry: A methodology revolutionizing action-research
Abstract
The appreciative inquiry represents the conjugation between generative paradigm and the research action. It is a ‘positive revolution’; methodology and epistemology, that which does not solely observe the transformation of the components but also includes the possibility of the generative change for people and organizations(Cooperrider & Whitney, 2005; Cooperrider, Zandee, Godwin, Avital & Boland, 2013). The intent of this article is to further shed light upon how the appreciative inquiry represents a proceduralization of the research-action for the formation and eventual funding of a new paradigm for the school.
