Abstract

Teaching evaluation by students is a practice that is present in different ways and is functional, at least in terms of intentions, to the improvement of training systems. The contribution aims to understand how secondary school students live this experience, what value do they assign to it, what they really think about its objectives. There is a strong conviction that teaching evaluation can be a driver to promote the active participation of students stimulating them to act with responsibility and autonomy within the school community. Following the field survey conducted
in a school of Milan there are encouraging elements that are not without signs of criticality; these data focus on the need to guide and support students so that they can seize this opportunity to “train” to exercise their rights and duties in a framework of co-responsibility between generations.
