Abstract

Given the results from neurosciences about Knowledge, Self and Consciousness,
we outline a new vision of Education. Neurosciences offer a
new idea about human being, his brain constitution and function: Neural
maps, and interaction between them that determine to the cognitive action.
The evolutive process of matter becoming life and consciousness, and the
epigenetic process as sociocultural epigenesis are presented as the biological
stem of education. The education must assume subject’s creativity as
his main value, a process of becoming through his interaction with the own
physical, bio- and social environment. The active role in knowing and learning
in the educational process is played by conscious autopoiesis as creative
evolution of human being.
