The workshop didactic as a bridge between disciplinary knowledge and general education
Abstract
A survey was conducted at the CdS Workshop in the Primary Education department in order to highlight the way in which the workshop didactic represents an interconnection between the general and disciplinary education. The elements taken into consideration were: the planning, the methodologies and the organizational and evaluation paths, used to identify the strengths and improve their quality and value. The survey underlined both the strengths and weaknesses, especially in those workshops not designed as one. Given the results, we strongly believe that it is fundamental to shape disciplinary referent teachers and workshop faculty experts through this method, in order to improve the quality of this kind of teaching and modify it into an even more effective educational mediation element.
