Abstract

The paper explores the intersection between artificial intelligence (AI) and disability, with a specific focus on how new digital hybrid systems are transforming educational and inclusive processes for people with disabilities. In the work of scanning and analyzing the scientific literature, the potential opportunities offered by AI to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities are investigated, in particular in terms of education and social participation, recognizing, however, also the pitfalls posed by algorithmic biases and poor accessibility.
