La visione pedagogica del corso di vita: l’attualità del pensiero di A. Necker de Saussure
Abstract
A re-reading of Necker’s works in terms of the pedagogy of the course of life, allows us to consider continuous education and/or continuing education in more than the functionalist and economistic way typical of our day. Necker’s thought calls us to reflect on the responsibilityeach person now has to design and plan their course of life between necessity and freedom in formal, non-formal and informal systems. Commitment to education involves a constant and shared search for the meaning implied by the project, a search not based on pre-existing models, but based in relation to the search for truth about human perfection, and hence of ethics.
