“The research at Doctoral Schools in Italy. Comparing Doctoral candidates, Ph.D.s and Teachers”: the eleventh edition of SIRD conference
The purpose of this article is to present the eleventh edition of SIRD (Italian Society for Educational Research) conference, entitled “The research at Doctoral Schools in Italy: Comparing Doctoral candidates, Ph.D.s and Teachers”, held in Rome in June 2017. The contribution highlight some of the most important aspects raised during the event: the presentation of fifteen research programs by second year Ph.D. students which was followed by an open debate; the presentation of posters by fourteen Ph.D.s; the critical reflections arisen from the comparison with some of the protagonists of the empirical-experimental research.
