Teacher training in teaching learning-to-learn key competence. Choices for innovation and problematic aspects
Abstract
The article addresses the issue of teacher education and training in school system in order to support innovative projects related to teaching learning to learn key competence. The focus is on some key and problematics decisions points that can occur whenever a school becomes involved in designing learning to learn projects: initiation of innovation, development of the construct, social context of learning to learn, use of research results. These, interpreted in the light of a model of educational practice, are used to argue the opportunity of a teacher training and education model that contributes to the development of a complex decision-making competence.
