Assessment and pedagogy. A semiological paradigm

This paper describes a new paradigm for assessment in the field of education. We first analyze some limitations of the metrological model of docimology, and We propose a semiological model, suitable for the assessment of intellectual and moral habits. This model is qualitative, but can also include quantitative elements.
