Abstract

The essay presents the results of an exploratory research, conducted with the instrument of the semi-structured interview, which purpose was to investigate the opinion of some teachers of the humanities concerning the reform of secondary schools – applied to the Italian school system from school year 2010/2011 – and their perception about its implementation. In the interview
were taken into account some key topics such as the structure and organization of the school, the system of multi-disciplinary and historical indications, the point of view of teachers about students and human sciences teachers’ beliefs about their role in this new reality. The survey highlights some strong and weak points of the Reform Law and its initial implementation, proposed as ways to think and rethink for those who, for various reasons, deal with school.
